Great first win for the Freshmen.

Seaholm was down by 4 with a minute left and found a way to force overtime. Seaholm was up 3 with a few seconds left in OT and South Lyon could not get a shot off to try to tie. Ryder Fenton led the team with 15 points.

Seaholm suffered their first loss of the season to a very good Adams team.

A hard fought game by the Maples, but South Lyon East held on for the win.

The Maples fell behind early but fought back in the second quarter to trail by just one point at halftime. The game stayed close through the third, before Rochester pulled ahead late in the fourth.

The Maples came out of the gate hot, holding a commanding lead throughout the first half. Oak Park fired back to start the third quarter, but timely shooting hld off the attempted comeback. Led by an electric student section, the boys got back in the win column and head into the new year with momentum.

The Maples jumped out to an early lead against a strong Saline team. After fighting off an attempted comeback by the Hornets in the third quarter, the Maples came out victorious. Great win to start off 2026!

The Maples defeated Bloomfield Hills in a 32-31 overtime thriller. Julian Tindall led the scoring with 9 points, including the game winning lay-up with 25 seconds left. Reed Schaefer and Andrew Kowalski helped boost the offense with 5 points each.

Despite a hot start by Royal Oak, Seaholm fought back and won by a decisive 14 points. Ben Ishbia led the Maples scoring with 12 points, followed by Eli Panza with 11 and Cayde Friedrichs with 9.

The Maples defeat cross-town rival Groves in a hard fought 50-47 contest. Cayde Friedrichs led with 12 points. Reed Schaefer followed with 8, including a clutch basket with 30 seconds left. Great team win!

The Maples extended their winning streak to 6 games. The Maples shooting was sharp as they landed 12 3-pointers on the day, led by Ben Ishbia with 18 points.

Coasted to an easy first win.

Seaholm started the game on an 18-0 run and never looked back. Only a late 3 pointer by South Lyon prevented Seaholm from holding their second straight opponent under 20 points. Jack Barlage had 16 points and Noah Baldwin had 14.

It was a competitive game and Seaholm had the ball down 3 at the end with a chance to tie, but missed a tough shot.

Ben Best and Noah Baldwin led the Maples with 8 points each. Seaholm was down early and fought back to cut the deficit to three late, but couldn’t get over the top.

It was a nice game to get Seaholm back into the win column. The game was not even as close as the score indicated as Seaholm led by more than 20 going into the 4th quarter and Lamphere hit a few desperation threes to make the score look closer. Noah Baldwin with 21 points led the Maples.

It was a tight game throughout and Seaholm trailed by a few late in the game. A couple late steals by Noah Baldwin helped. Jakob Stickney got fouled on a drive with 45 seconds left and hit two big free throws to put Seaholm up 43-42. After a Saline miss, Ben Best hit another two huge free throws with 9 seconds left to go up three, and Saline missed a three pointer at the buzzer that would have tied it.

JV was down to 6 players, even with Hudson Wurn and Ryder Fenton moving up from the Freshmen Team. Nabeel Antaki was out sick, and Gus Effinger and Kyle Cunningham were out hurt. Both Ben Best and Noah Baldwin rolled their ankles during the game and didn’t return. Jack Barlage led the scoring effort with 16.

Great way to finish the season as JV battled back in the 4th to force overtime. Huge 3 pointer by freshman Nate Peard to tie the game at 37 with 7 seconds left. Seaholm held Troy to just two points in Overtime, and Jack Barlage was hitting free throws at the end to ice the game.

Seaholm started slow, with only 2 pts in the 1st qtr, but went on a 15-3 run to end the half and led 23-17. They never trailed again. Leading Scorers were Everett Wertz (19 pts) & Aiden Pero (15 pts). Drew Heckman had 16 rebounds.

Seaholm dominated the whole game, leading 15-3 after the first quarter, 23-9 at halftime and coasting to an easy win. Patrick Hughes led a balanced scoring attack with 12 points. Everett Wertz and Hudson Schossau added 10 each.

Unfortunately Seaholm lost starting guard Patrick Hughes to a broken arm midway through the first half. Seaholm was only down 26-25 with a couple minutes left in the half, but Adams went on a 10-0 run to take a 36-25 lead into the break. Everett Wertz picked up his 4th foul a minute into the second half and Seaholm couldn’t recover. Aiden Pero and Brody Feldmaier led the team with 9 points each.

Seaholm was down one going into the 4th quarter 31-30, but the shots weren’t falling at the end and South Lyon East pulled away. Zack Kozouz led the Maples with 11 points and Aiden Pero added 10.

Rochester came into the game undefeated at 5-0 and ranked #24 in the state. Seaholm held on for a while down 26-25 at one point, but Rochester pulled away. Aiden Pero led the Maples with 14 points.

Very tough loss for the Maples. Seaholm led 24-17 at half, had increased the lead to 15 at one point, and led 40-30 with 4 minutes left. Unfortunately, the shots didn’t fall at the end and Lamphere was able to come back to win. Brody Feldmaier led the Seaholm scorers with 8 and Jack Barlage added 6. Seaholm was without Everett Wertz who was sick.

Seaholm was without a number of players. Patrick Hughes is still out. Lincoln Bell broke an arm skiing and is out for a while. Will Fedor rolled an ankle badly in warm-ups. Hudson Schossau and James Liebler were out of town. Nevertheless, the Maples played a strong game leading 30-26 at half against a 6-1 Salem team coming into the game. A slow 3rd quarter hurt the Maples entering the 4th down 40-35 and they couldn’t make up the difference. Everett Wertz with a great game - 22 points and 9 rebounds on 9-14 shooting. Aiden Pero with 11 points and Brody Feldmaier with 10 also chipped in.

Baskets were hard to come by in this game. It was a one point deficit for the Maples at Halftime 16-15, but Seaholm could not get much going in the second half and Northern pulled away. Everett Wertz led the Maples with 8 points.

Seaholm was hoping to start the New Year breaking the losing streak. They got off to a 17-1 lead to start the game, and still led 24-22 at halftime. But, Saline shot 61% from the field in the second half and pulled away. Brody Feldmaier was the leading scorer with 17 points, Drew Heckman added 14 and Everett Wertz had 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Seaholm was able to break their losing streak and win the first league game of the season. The Maples led by 10 at half and coasted to the 21 point victory. Everett Wertz had a great game with 25 points on 8-12 shooting and 5-5 from the free throw line, along with 7 rebounds. Drew Heckman and Aiden Pero added 10 each.

Seaholm led from start to finish. Everett Wertz led the team with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Bryan Pohl added 9 points, 4 steals and 4 assists. Seaholm improves to 2-0 in league play.

A competitive game throughout, the largest lead by either team was 5 points until the very end. Seaholm had a couple chances to get within one possession late, but UofD sealed the win with some final free throws. Everett Wertz led the scoring with 14 points and Aiden Pero had 12. Drew Heckman added 10 rebounds.

Seaholm was without head coach Spenser Adams who was recovering from surgery. Seaholm jumped out to a strong start - leading 18-7 after the first quarter. But, Pontiac shot lights out the rest of the game (63% - 20-32). Pontiac led 28-24 at half and held the lead the rest of the game. Everett Wertz had 16 points and 7 rebounds, and Drew Heckman had 15 points and 7 rebounds.

Bloomfield came into the game with a strong 12-2 record. The Maples did not shoot well - going only 27% for the game. Senior captain Drew Heckman led the way with 8 points on 3-6 shooting and 2-2 from the line.

The Maples were down 18-5 after the first quarter. Royal Oak’s best player had a strong night, scoring 27 of their 42 points. Seaholm was still down 37-27 in the 4th quarter but went on a 17-0 run to go up 44-37 and seal the game. It was a great comeback victory. Seaholm was led by Everett Wertz with 18 points.

Rivalry game was competitive but Seaholm played like they were the better team. Seaholm led 21-15 at half. Groves went on a 10-1 run into the 4th quarter to tie the game at 31, and again at 34, but Seaholm made the plays at the end to seal the victory. Drew Heckman led the way for the Maples with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

The Maples won their 3rd game in a row. Seaholm led by 2 at halftime in a low scoring game but built a 10 point led heading into the 4th quarter. Athens was able to cut the lead to 1 point late in the game, but some clutch free throws and good defense at the end by the Maples gave them the win. Everett Wertz led the scoring with 13 points.

A more dominant win than even the score indicates. Seaholm was the much better team and led from start to finish. Everett Wertz with a season high 30 points.

It was a competitive game but Seaholm found a way to hold on for the win, and increase their winning streak to 5 games. It was a balanced scoring attack let by Patrick Hughes with 12 points, and Everett Wertz with 11 points.

Seaholm played a solid first half and was down by 3 at the break. A key no call on the offensive end followed by a Pontiac three pointer was a big momentum swing in the 3rd quarter. Seaholm couldn’t make a run at the end.

Seaholm played a much better game on Senior Night against Bloomfield than the first time, all 5 seniors started. Senior Captain Will Fedor opened the scoring in his first game back in many weeks on a 3 pointer. The first half saw Senior starter and captain Drew Heckman go down with a sprained ankle and he could not return. Seaholm was down by 2 at halftime and 7 after the 3rd quarter. Unfortunately Seaholm couldn’t make a run at the end. Senior Abhi Thota scored the last home points of the season on a 3 pointer.

Without injured starter Drew Heckman, Seaholm held the lead for most of the game. Although Everett Wertz missed most of the second half picking up his 4th foul early in the 3rd quarter, he came back in with 4 minutes left in the game and scored an amazing 19 of his 33 points to seal it. The 63 points were Seaholm’s most on the season and got them to double digit wins.

The Maples just couldn’t get on track or overcome a poor shooting night. Even with that, they had the ball late with a chance to tie but couldn’t get a shot off. Seaholm still doubled their win total from last year and finished with a 6-4 Conference record as well.
